What is a Grid Connect System?

Our Grid Connect systems are set-up so that you can begin feeding excess power back to the grid straight away. They consist of your standard components – including panels, wiring and switches – with the additional use of inverters.

These small pieces of equipment convert the electricity produced from direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC) which is required before you can sell it back to the grid.

This process also helps to reduce the risk of your system overheating, avoiding the potential for fire. You’ll also need a digital meter installed to measure how much energy you’re sending back to the grid.
